This was the only meal of my life that was not only delicious and filling but also thought-provoking and, even, hilarious. The degustation menu was extremely value-packed: I'm a heavy-hitter in terms of how much food I can eat but I couldn't even come close to finishing it. This meal taught me how to become comfortable leaving food on my plate. Each time that the servers brought out another course, we had to stifle our laughter at how large it was. This is hands down one of THE BEST restaurants we've ever eaten at. The food is absolutely delicious. Every dish has well balanced flavours, from the primi piatti to the pastas to the meat dishes to the dolci. The local Calabrian red wines are sophisticated on the palate and a great accompaniment to the food. The Sicilian chef and the local Calabrian sommelier definitley know their metier! Ridiculous. Was here in town for one night and, based on reviews on here, thought it’s a safe bet. Decent steak and food was overall quite nice. Worth the price? Not at all. It could have been had the service not been crap. But unfortunately it was - we ordered wine and it didn’t arrive until, roughly 20 minutes after ordering, we reminded staff we had done so. They didn’t care, didn’t apologise. Our presence felt like an inconvenience. A shame.
