Canasta Mare — Restaurant in Riccione

Lovely area, but unfortunately it took them two hours to serve us food. Thought I’d give them the benefit of the doubt but once the food came - it was cold, the plates were dirty, the food didn’t taste very nice, and I didn’t receive what I had ordered. Also the food was served to us at all at different times so had to watch my family eat while I waited another 30 minutes for my food to arrive. Only hot food was french fries we had ordered as a side. Ended up paying over €100 bill where some food didn’t even arrive in the end. Had high hopes when a man (who i’m assuming was the owner) gave us a warm welcome downstairs up to a pretty rooftop terrace. Unfortunately we didn’t have a good experience here and could just see a young waiter being overworked and running around checking all the tables while others were nowhere to be seen or only appeared once the pressure was heightened due to food running out ages after being ordered.

There's no half star ratings but I think it's just about a 4 because the service was ever so friendly, even though it's quite slow. Obviously a great setting by the beach, there, upstairs wasn't open when we went but I'd imagine it would be wonderful to eat up there. The portion sizes were huge but the food was just okay, certainly nothing special but definitely not bad, just about right. Prices are about right for the area, it's not cheap but isn't expensive or poor value, either. They don't do pizza and the kitchen is only open for lunch and dinner. Worth booking...

Ci sono stata più volte e non mi ha mai deluso. Ottimi piatti di pesce, tra i miei preferiti ci sono gli spaghetti alle vongole, i passatelli ai crostacei e ottimi gli spiedini di gamberi e calamari , per non parlare della crema catalana , insomma una delizia per il palato. Tutto accompagnato dalla simpatia, cordialità e attenzione che contraddistingue Carlo e la sua famiglia Insomma io lo straconsiglio perché per me è sempre uno dei migliori ristoranti di Ricvione 💖 . Ah dimenticavo! E' una delizia anche per gli occhi perché si trova sulla spiaggia , e gode di una splendida terrazza da cui si gode il mare e se proprio non c'è il sole potete mangiare all'interno Da non perdere Un grazie particolare da Cinzia per avere reso ancora più piacevoli le vacanze Spero di...
