La Piazzetta Ristorante Pizzeria Griglieria — Restaurant in Riparbella

This restaurant makes decent food. The pizzas are tasty but too wet, but the pasta is homemade and really good.

We were there two times in the same week. The first time everything was really good, and even though the waiters didn't know much English we got what we ordered. The second time was very different. The waiters were very busy, and we tried to order a glass of the house wine, but the waiter just came with a whole bottle and two glasses. We tried to explain to him that we just wanted a glass of wine, but then he just said okay and took one of the glasses and left the bottle. Our food came and was just as delicious as the first time. But when I and my oldest daughter were finished, a young female waiter asked if we were finished, I said yes that my daughter and I were finished, but then she took all of our plates, even though my wife and youngest daughter had barely gotten to eat any of their food (my wife was in the restroom with my youngest daughter). We didn't notice before she was gone with our plates.

The food is really good, but the service isn't. The waiters are often busy and don't notice if you need something. For instance we waited almost 15 minutes to pay for our food after we got our check.

We were seated on a table overlooking the beautiful countryside views. Our waitress was prompt and offered us drinks immediately. I wasn't too sure what to get and she helped with the selections. I really enjoyed the spicy pizza I had as it was traditional Tuscan style crust and really tasty. Our girls loved the margarita style pizza along with the gelato. It was so warm last night the gelato was actually steaming which was quite fun for them. I really enjoyed the night and thought our food was served quite quickly which was great considering how hungry the girls were from the long day in Pisa and Lucca. Very rude lady Who (not) helped me. They've kept me waiting for 10 minutes while my order was already on the bar. When the chef asked the woman with glasses why i was still waiting she gave me the order which was standing on the bar. I said, i think it's cold now. She Just began screaming at me what I wanted. So ive paid money for cold pizza's. And the brucchetta i orded i did not even get. I think this is the first time i have ever wrote a bad review. But this is Just insane.

The delay and mixup are never a problem, delays happen, it's Just how this lady did. I feel stolen...
