A very picturesque place in a quaint village square of Riparbella. The food is a hit and miss - the antipasti (tartare di manzo and vitello tonnato) were excellent. The tagliata di manzo and duck were nearly raw - not pink. The polite request to redo the meat was met with the same attitude and behavior as any other interaction - the service was constantly annoyed and acted impolitely throughout the meal, followed by impatient explanations that “we do it like this in Tuscany”. Pasta is all fresh, tastes home made and is matched excellently to different sauces. Seconds are also well prepared and served - really enjoyed the Cinghiale alla Riparbellina as a second.
