First granita of the year, end of January🥶, a bit too early and too cold but..... It was really such an experience. I tasted the Pistacchio and unpeeled Almond and I can sincerely state that those voices in the grapevine prizing it as one of best Sicilian granita are a real truth. I loved the whole nuts flavors, it seems to taste a pastry cream very peculiar and not too sweet perfect as well for whose not like sweety tastes..... The Perfect Lunch for summer times and the perfect lunch of this rainy chilly winter end of January morning.

Best place for breakfast, coffee and sweets. We visited in September 2018 and found the owner?! to be a great guy, not only cause he's got the best tasting stuff around... Non avevo mai realmente mangiato la granita. Qualche giorno fa, dopo molti anni che mi parlavano bene di questo posto, ho avuto il piacere di provare la loro granita al pistacchio, dire buona è veramente riduttivo. Provare la loro granita, significa rendersi realmente conto di non averla mai mangiata davvero, un gusto veramente unico, mi aspettavo un sapore di pistacchio, non un vero gusto di pistacchio, piena di pezzettini di pistacchio tritato. Così come la granita al melone, che rispetto alle cose che ho provato, qui non si sentiva nulla di chimico. Non ero mai nemmeno stato attratto dal provarla a questo gusto, ed invece il giorno dopo li ho provati quasi tutti! Raccontare i vari gusti, credo che rovini un po' l'esperienza, vi invito "caldamente" a provare le loro granite! Per ultimo, ma non per importanza, è possibile anche consumare sul posto, in un giardino sulla strada, ma un po' internato, è molto carino soprattutto nelle prime ore...
