America Graffiti - Roma — Restaurant in Rome

We visited this place for two times. Shortly: the place is nice, but on second visit we came in a rush and waited for our food for 1,5 hours, it was cold, and we paid the full price for it.

The first time was great. There were lots of people and the place was really loud, but we easely found a table for two, easely ordered food in englis, and it was pretty tasty. Plus this place has wonderfull atmosphere and there is a free arcade machine with lots of games. But the machine is a bit broken.

Second time was awfull. It was saturday evening, and we came as a group of three without reservation. It was 20 minutes wait, and we were sent to wait outside. It was cold outside, but our company was fine with it since we came in a car. After 20 minutes we came back, but our name was crossed out of list and there were no place to sit, so we desided to order takeaway. It was a 30 minutes wait, so we went back to our car again, but is wasn't ready by that time, so we waited 20 minutes more. Then we found free space in restoraunt ans desided to wait there. Overall it took around 1,5 hours for us to get our food since we came. It seems like they forgot about our order, becouse our hamburvers were cold, and they took 15 minutes more to make other food. We weren't offered any comlimentary dishes, or discounts or anything, we even went to get tissues ourselves, since noone gave us any tools to eat. I mean we weren't screaming or anything, since it is probably wasn't stuffs fault and they were in a rush, but really? Cold food, and no efford to fix the situation? No complimentary dishes, no discounts, no proper servise for 1,5 hour wait? Aggiornamento 03.08.19: A distanza di un anno è decisamente migliorato!!! Non ci sono più attese bibliche, anzi sono decisamente veloci, non sbagliano gli ordini e il refill free finalmente funziona!! Il cibo poi davvero OTTIMO! E le porzioni dei dolci non sono più mignon! Insomma un cambio di rotta davvero notevole. Spero continuino così! Ora le 5 stellette sono d'obbligo e meritate!

P.S. unica pecca per i miei gusti è l'aria condizionata troppo fredda, ho dovuto cenare con il golfino.

Luogo carino in stile America anni 50. Tutto finisce qui perché per il resto un disastro completo! Abbiamo ordinato un super big mix da ben 15 euro!! e non vale quel prezzo! Non prendetelo anche perché non è che sia tutta questa bontà! Poi abbiamo ordinato un Manhattan pastrami e un TNT burger piccante con carne irlandese 300gr. Dopo 40 minuti circa ci è arrivato un Manhattan pastrami e un hamburger che, come TNT burger, era MOLTO deludente ma ovviamente l'ho mangiato perché avevo fame! Dopo volevamo ordinare altra Coca-Cola refill free ma era davvero un impresa perché il personale, di fatto, ti ignora e vaga senza un criterio ben preciso! Ad un certo punto abbiamo deciso di investire altro tempo e cercare di ordinare il dessert ... Dopo aver chiamato il cameriere con il palmare per gli ordini e con tanto di cenno in risposta che dava ad intendere che sarebbe passato al nostro tavolo, nulla di fatto, ci ha preso in giro! Al che ho alzato le braccia per attirare l'attenzione di qualcuno ma nulla... ho chiesto ad un cameriere che stava pulendo il tavolo vicino al nostro ed ho detto che volevamo ordinare il dessert, al che mi ha risposto che lui non prendeva gli ordini ma non mi ha indicato nessun altro a cui chiedere e neanche si è offerto di chiamarlo (come avviene di solito). Mentre affrontavamo la missione "ordinare il dessert" è arrivata la ragazza che ci aveva preso l'ordine all'inizio con in mano un Manhattan pastrami e un TNT burger che cercava il tavolo a cui apparteneva la comanda e dopo aver vagato un paio di volte abbiamo capito che la comanda era quella nostra, quindi io avevo mangiato un hamburger diverso da quello che avevo ordinato! (senza contare che l'ordine è arrivato dopo un'ora) ... Senza parole! Dopo essersi scusata ha preso lei l'ordine del dessert facendomi la gentile concessione di mettere del cioccolato sulla cheesecake proprio per il disguido accaduto con l'hamburger. Perché non è possibile prendere la cheesecake e metterci sopra quello che volete! Comunque sono arrivate delle mini fette di cheesecake!! Vergognoso! Ho letto tra le recensioni di porzioni abbondanti ... Mah forse sono capitata nella serata economia! Il tutto è costato ben 58 euro e se non fosse venuto fuori l'errore dell'hamburger sbagliato avremmo pagato di più e per un ordine mai arrivato! In conclusione il locale ha del potenziale ma ci vuole personale competente, perché ci sono tempi biblici tra l'ordine e l'arrivo del piatto e non è detto che sia quello giusto! Poi non c'è educazione perché il cliente non si prende in giro facendogli credere che verrai presto a prendere l'ordine e invece non lo farai minimamente! certo non pago per farmi prendere in giro! Pessimo, pessimo, pessimo posto. L'unica ragazza carina e professionale e stata quella con gli occhiali che ci ha preso l'ordine! Io lo sconsiglio come posto, almeno fino a quando non risolveranno con il personale che vaga senza una meta per il locale! Ultima cosa, la qualità del cibo è sotto a burger king ( per il panino sbagliato che ho mangiato ovviamente, perché quello che ho ordinato mi è arrivato...

Actually I wanted to put 0 stars, but it was not possible, thats why I put 1 star. We were waiting for our food for 1 hour and 30 min. This is the worst service I have ever had. Finally, after my 8th or 10th reminder, the staff went to kitchen and brought us 2 burgers, while the other 2 dishes still were missing. Both burgers were cold. So, all this 1.5 hour, when we were asking the staff to check what's going on with our request, they didn't even bother to ask the kitchen, they just were telling us to wait. Finally, we got all the food, but still there was no tissues and no cutlery on the table 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ Yes, I understand that sometimes mistakes happen, especially during rush hours.
