Caffè Circi S.r.l. — Restaurant in Rome

Lovely little Italian cafe and espresso bar! My friend and I randomly dropped by as we were walking through Rome on our hunt for cannolis, and we decided to pop our head into Caffe Circi. This cute little shop not only had cannolis for sale, but they also had multiple flavors...and mini versions so you could sample multiple without making yourself sick. We decided to get two mini cannolis, one filled with chocolate and the other with pistachio. Both were super tasty, although I think the richness of the dark chocolate won out in the end; the pistachio flavor was present, but not quite strong enough to fight through the sugar in the cream filling. The shell was a little bit too hard and overbaked, but I assume that was a result of their size -- the normal-sized cannolis were likely...
