Later edit: Nice replay, I appreciate the politeness, but, the tables stayed free for 40 min, and during that time we kept asking if we can stay in just to finish the pizza. And one of the small tables, the one next to the kitchen, was free almost the entire time. It was a busy restaurant and full when we came indeed, but in the hour that we waited it became almost half empty so it was possible to help us finish the meal inside (took 20 min but it was freezing for us).
They treated us so bad. From the start refusing to give us a table although there was a free one outside and we asked about it 3 times before we got it. They kept postponing or refusing us.
They promised they will give us a table inside in 30-40 min. And even when 4 tables became free inside and we asked to finish our food inside because it was too cold and we had a small child with us, they continued to refuse our request. Actually, in the video you will see there was a small table close to a refrigerator, that table was free the entire time we waited for our food. And other 2 or 3 tables inside that were empty and they continued saying that we cannot go in because they had reservations (1 h before closing). Although we only had a pizza that we were waiting for and the pizza took us 15 min to finish.
The only reason we stayed was that we didn’t expect such a bad treatment from them and because our child was super hungry and the restaurant was only 10 min walk from our accommodation.
I regret giving them money; we haven’t been treated so badly in our lives in a restaurant. Shame, you made Italian people look unwelcoming and racist. That’s how we...
Read moreI will not comment about the food but about the bad service. Humiliating.
If the child was not crying for food we would have left.
We came with a 2.5 year old and yes, no reservation. They first said they don't have any table available for 40 min. But one table was available outside and one inside through our restaurant visit. We took the free table and asked if it is free (no reserved card on it). After a 5 min wait they said yes.
I felt we were not welcome the entire time, they always had to ask someone and the “asking” took up to 5 minutes.
We asked them to enter inside when we saw that there was constantly a small table available and 2 other big ones free. I have to say that we only asked to be moved after we already have eaten the starter, and we actually only needed 15 more min to finish our pizzas. Our daughter fell asleep in the stroller and we had to let her sleep outside.
They refused. We felt they were treating us bad because we were foreigners. If you are not Italian, don’t...
Read moreExceptional food and exemplary staff! We went to Casaconsorti on the recommendation of our hotel receptionist. Although we didn't have a reservation, the staff did their best to help us and were very polite. After a reasonable wait, our pizzas arrived. They were truly magnificent. Both their innovative and traditional pizzas were wonderful. The tiramisu we ordered after the meal was also delicious. The portions are quite large. We couldn't eat half of one of the pizzas we ordered. We took the remaining pizza to our hotel in a box for takeaway.
Another important advantage is that there is a large parking area in front of the venue. We parked our car in front of the restaurant and had a nice meal without worrying about the car.
In short: A truly exemplary restaurant in every way! 5/5, 10/10, 100/100! No...
