This is the kind of place you can't find in Roma Central or Trastevere. Unassuming and unpretentious. White tablecloth, paper napkins. Was able to walk in without a reservation. Right in my wheelhouse. Cacio e pepe with fresh glistening pecorino cheese, perfectly al dente, beautifully seasoned. Saltimbuca served with perfect bread to sop up the savory gravy, paired with a bottle of house red was a perfect match (and was the bargain of the week). Da Gabrielle fulfilled every expectation I had for our trip to Roma. I can't wait...

I was here about 1 week ago with my family. My mother, husband and I absolutely loved the food and atmosphere. We ordered carbonara and Cacio pepe. Out of all the 13 restaurants and the 8 different pasta dishes we had tried before this was absolutely the Best!

Ideale se vuoi ridere e fare due chiacchiere con i camerieri..ma se vuoi mangiare cambia posto. Cibo pessimo.

Rispondo al proprietario qui perché non so come rispondere direttamente a lui..è passato un po’ di tempo da quando sono venuto e ovviamente non ho lo scontrino, io sono arrivato un po’ in ritardo rispetto al mio tavolo e ahimè non mi è stato chiesto il nome da registrare, perciò non penso sia il caso di aprire questo discorso, ho preso un piatto, (visto che gli antipasti erano già stati ordinati dal resto del tavolo ) una carbonara che galleggiava nell’acqua ed è stata la prima volta che ho lasciato un piatto di carbonara! Dopo un po’ di tempo si è aggiunta in altra ragazza L nostro gruppo (nemmeno lei è stata registrata) anche se sconsigliata da me ha preso comunque la carbonara che pure lei ha lasciato nel piatto. I ragazzi che erano con me usciti fuori si sono messi a cantare qualche pezzo rap e qualcuno di voi ha assistito perciò penso vi ricorderete.
