Hanami Sushi Restaurant — Restaurant in Rome

At first everything seemed super good, we got the rules, we ordered and got the food rather fast 10-30 minutes. I got my food in 10 minutes and my partner in 30 minutes. After that we ordered more of the same dish (rice noodles with vegetables) and got the food after 10-15 minutes. And then same thing again. But then, we ordered one last time, also same dish again and waited for 40 minutes before waiter came and we explained the situation. After that we waited 20 minutes more and the dish still didn’t come. After that we asked the waiter again about the food and he told us that the kitchen had closed 30 minutes before and the rice noodles were finished but the table next to us got that same dish 20 minutes earlier... He told us that he thought that another waiter had talked to us about it but no one did. We had waited for one hour without any update on our last day in Rome. We could have spent it doing something else.. The rice noodles with vegetables tasted amazing but the service and disrespect made it a very horrible experience. We left the place angry paying over 50€ For some small dishes and tea and a beer.

Locale ristrutturato quest'anno, location carina, cibo adeguato alla spesa. Sono un cliente abituale (2/4 volte al mese da quando ha aperto ed era ancora Buddha) Le portate sono migliorate, nell'impiattamento e le decorazioni, nelle varie proposte di sushi troviamo più riso che pesce, ma c'è da aspettarselo. Dolci a pagamento, mentre nella gestione precedente erano inclusi nel menu. Per quanto riguarda il servizio ho riscontrato pecche da tutti i punti di vista: -Mascherine tenute dai camerieri solo ed esclusivamente se vogliono, mentre è d'obbligo per legge. Addirittura si avvicinano al volto del commensale parlare senza la mascherina. -Servizio lento, si arriva ad aspettare anche 40' minuti dal primo ordine effettuato prima che venga servito al tavolo ( male male) con il locale mezzo vuoto... Quasi sempre bisogna sollecitare i vari "runner" per farsi portare tutte le pietanze comprese nell'ordine ( che esce dalla cucina con comanda numerata e tutto insieme), con la conseguenza che la vostra tempura/pietanza calda poi arrivi fredda e in ritardo al tavolo. -Pessimo approccio con il cliente da parte di qualche "runner" se ad esempio si ordina per le 22:50, la cucina in 10 minuti prepara tutto, i runner portano al commensale l'ordine e se non si riesce a finire per l'orario previsto (23:45) iniziano a mandare un cameriere che riesce a "parlare" Italiano per trattare con il cliente...esempio di stasera: Tavolo da 2 pax, 1 ordine arrivato dopo 40 minuti da quando l'abbiamo mandato (21:30/22:13) 2 ordine arrivato a scaglioni senza una logica precisa Ultimo ordine effettuato alle 22:30, arrivato alle 22:45, successivamente ci viene comunicato che la cucina è chiusa. Ci è arrivata parecchia roba da mangiare, comunque avevamo un'ora di tempo per consumarla ( se si lascia, o si vuole portare via, si paga più o meno 5€ a portata); abbiamo avuto l'urgenza di dover andare via verso le 23:45, ma purtroppo è arrivato il cameriere al tavolo per dirci che se avessimo lasciato le pietanze o le avessimo volute portar via avrebbe pagato un supplemento di circa 5€ l'una...attenzione! Qui inizia il divertimento, si toglie la mascherina e inizia a proporre prezzi differenti in base all'orario in cui ce ne saremmo andati. Spiego meglio, se fossimo andati via subito, invece che a mezzanotte (orario previsto per la chiusura) ci avrebbe fatto pagare 5€ totali per il disturbo... Alla fine alle 23:50 è arrivato al tavolo accampando scuse sull'orario e che non poteva aspettare perché dovevano andare a casa...beh ci ha levato il piatto mentre stavamo mangiando, praticamente è come essere cacciati senza alcun motivo. In conclusione: se avete 23€ a persona da spendere, andate in una bella trattoria Romana, Dar Bottarolo (all you can eat alla Romana) e tornate a casa con il resto in tasca! ...oppure se volete mangiare carne seria o un panino troppo buono vi propongo: Bistrot Forlini Spinaceto, poco più distanti, ma andate sul sicuro! Ad Hanami fusion experiens l'unica esperienza che farete sarà l'attesa per uscire a pancia vuota e un puzzo di fritto addosso incredibile, sempre che qualche cameriera non vi rovesci la soia sui vestiti ( è successo anche quello l'altra settimana). A voi la scelta. Spero di essere...

This was the absolute worst eating I’ve had in my life. I came with my family for the buffet cena, not only did we receive our plates very late, they were all out of order. It didn’t feel like we were eating a meal but rather were eating an assortment side dishes without the main course. The food was bland, the rice was stale, the only thing good were the appetizers but their main courses are horrendous. Their sushi is mediocre. And their service was terrible. The waiters would constantly mess up our orders, and forget our table, we would have to ask for basic things like sauces. If you’re still reading I’m sure you get this point, unless you really like leftovers and stale food, this really isn’t a place to go if you want to eat good food. And it was certainly over priced. I don’t write reviews much so that should...
