Great local neighborhood restaurant. The real flavoures of the Italian kitchen. The service is good, and the atmosphere is relaxing (though the area is not so welcoming...). The only downside is the looooooong wait. So only if you have a patient or arrive at the opening...

Sono di Orbassano, in provincia di Torino, e ho imparato a preparare la amatriciana dal Signor Armando, fondatore di questa storica trattoria di Torre Angela. Sono passati 21 anni da quella amatriciana preparata da lui, non l'avevo mai mangiata prima, essendo piemontese, e non l'ho mai più scordata. Oggi la preparo anche io, e la faccio molto bene, degna di un palato romano, e lo devo solo al Signor Armando e a sua figlia, che oggi porta avanti la tradizione di famiglia.
