We we're staying at the hotel around the corner and they told us this was a nice place to eat.
We went there, it was very busy and they told us to wait approx 5 to 10 minutes.
When we got seated we were given the menu's and shortly after one of the waiters came to take our order, we only ordered drinks and told him we wanted to look a little longer.
15 minutes passed and he came back to our table, took our order and left without taking the menu's(?)
We waited quite a while before our food came, we only ordered 2 dishes, 1 side disj and 1 main dish because we weren't that hungry.
To our surprise the table that was seated next to us after got their food way before us. I even asked the waiter for an ashtray and he just arrogantly told me 'yes' and just wooshed me away with his hand while he was talking to an ITALIAN table.
I went to pay the bill and tried to state my complain but they abruptly interupted me and told me that it was just me experiencing the bad service.
This restaurant gave me the feeling that they'd rather serve Italian people before tourists and that Italian people get treated alot better.
To top it off all they could say was "we're sorry" without any compensation.
One of the worst experiences I've had in restaurants.

Read moreWe arrived at 2000 for dinner. We waited approximately 15-20 minutes to be seated. We did notice people coming after us and being seated. Once we were seated it took them another 15 minutes to ask about our drinks and yet another 20 minutes to take our order. We got our dinner at 2120. People that got there after us were served quickly. We ordered pasta carbonara and Bolognese, good not spectacular, I wouldn’t recommend that spot. We went there because of the great reviews in TripAdvisor, the food wasn’t anything to write about, the service was awful and the area where it’s located was dirty, covered in graffiti and didn’t feel safe. I noticed that every table got bread with their meals, more than one basket. We didn’t get any. We finished our water and they walked by us refilling other tables, but not us. I hate to say this but it strongly felt like we were singled out because we didn’t belong. I’m an American, I don’t speak Italian, but this is the only place in Rome where I’ve been treated with such disdain. It felt like our presence bothered them. We had to ask for our bill, and figure out that we had to pay up front, because they didn’t bother. I would tell anyone that wants to go there, there’s better food in the city center and friendly...
Read moreVery bad experience! Unfortunately it was our last experience before heading to the airport. So we looked through Google map and found this place with good rating! So we stopped by for lunch and walked ourselves to a table in the open air area, then waited for someone to say welcome or give menues for about 10 min. Then I had to go inside and ask them for it. My wife had Raviolli and baked potatoes which wasn't great and when she asked for bread (with charge) they brought a non fresh bread clearly from previous day. Also I asked for cup of Cappuccino and the waiter brought it and he shaked the cup and the plate underneath was full of coffee and he didn't try to offer changing it or at least bring...
