Ristorante Pizzeria da Vittorio — Restaurant in Sòssu/Sorso

We have a story about this place. Stayed nearby and went to restaurant following recommendation of our host. The waitress we had spoke very, very limited English. She definitely knew word "cheese". :D Anyway, my husband ordered beer and I ordered glass of wine. In the result we both got wine. The wine was great and we were in very good mood. The only thing I wanted to avoid was fish dished. As the menu was in Italian only I translated with Google translate most of dishes and even looked for pictures. In the result I ordered pasta with something that looked good in pictures, but didn't do deeper research what it is. What I got was pasta with tuna (or something really similar to that). If there is something I don't like it is tuna. :D So, we both ate my husband's dish, which was very good. The waitress asked what is wrong and we wrote on Google translate that I don't like tuna and I didn't know what I am ordering. We didn't ask, but they gave discount and we consider it to be very nice.

Next evening we returned and ordered pizzas, which were also good.

Overall, we would like to thank to waitress. She was one of the nicest waitresses we have met and despite the very limited English, she left very good impression. And yes, she was definitely doing her best to communicate with us.

Ho ordinato per la vigilia di Natale a cena, due menu da asporto. Sono andato a ritirare i menu e la prima amara sorpresa. Mi viene dato un vassoio che all'apparenza mi pareva scarno, ma mi riservo di arrivare a casa e controllare il contenuto. Chiedo di poter pagare con bancomat e mi viene risposto che il pos non risulta funzionante. Arrivato a casa, apro il vassoio e noto che gli antipasti erano messi in vaschette mono porzione, pertanto chiamo chiedendo se per caso ci fosse un errore, e mi viene risposto che quelle erano porzioni per due persone.. Premetto che non è il primo anno che prendo menu da asporto, e i quantitativi di cibo a cui sono sempre stato abituato non sono mai Stati così miseri, e il rapporto qualità prezzo è molto imbarazzante.
