Tenuta Apicella — Restaurant in Salerno

We visited this place as it was nearby our hotel. If you are tourist and looking for good place to eat i can not recommend this restaurant. Since we have been seated we waited like 10 minutes and nobody was bothered even to come and ask do we want anything to drink or menu (as menu was not on table, we had to figure it out ourselves that behind table number on other side there is QR code to scan. Obviously there was no menu on english to it was a little bit difficult to choose and had to use translator) We came there as we have seen on Facebook they have a'la carte menu with affordable prices. When waiter came to our table he told us this offer is available for us and he went to get us bottle of water we asked for. Then 5 minutes later him and woman( she did not speak english at all, she told him to tell us that THIS A'LA CARTE menu is only for mornings - looks like it is bait to get customers to restaurant or just noticed we are not italian and decided to scam us.) Prices are ridiculous when you compare them with what you are actually receiving. We ordered some raviolli. Can you imagine, 15€ for 5!! Ravioli with some cheese inside and few mushrooms with some sauce on top? This is a joke! We have been in many much higher rated restaurants,in better location and you get much more and much better food. Then when we finished and wanted to pay this women was not even bother to come to till so we can pay the bill..

We found this restaurant by chance. The price was only €10 for lunch and the taste was incredible. We could decide between two option and with my friends we tried everything and everything was great. I really recommend this place for anybody that wants to have some good food and excellent price. We also tried their pastries and oh my God they...

Appena entrati al ristorante siamo state rapite dallo scenario. Alberi, verde, precisione, tutto contornava meravigliosi tavoli ordinati. Le cameriere sono attente alle esigenze dei clienti. Buono l'antipasto coi salumi anche se poco abbondante, ottimi gli arrosticini di carne, ma la portata principale é stata la bistecca duchessa per 2 persone. Avevamo chiesto quella da un kg ma sullo scontrino facendo qualche calcolo pensiamo si trattasse di quella più grande, ad ogni modo la bistecca era succulenta, tenera, saporita. Unica pecca in cucina la fanno uscire quasi Cruda (per venire incontro alle esigenze di tutti) poiché la cottura te la continui tu a tavola con una sorta di mini bistecchiera da tavolo. Ciò rende l'esperienza poco rilassante poiché la devi cuocere tu. Basterebbe chiedere al cliente che cottura preferisce come fanno numerose braceria. A parte questo dettaglio la bistecca e le chips erano davvero ottime. L'ambiente signorile e gradevole. All'esterno anche una sala adibita a bar. Insomma nell'insieme un 'esperienza...
