We rolled up here on our mountain bikes for a lunch break and ended up lingering for ages, because nothing beats this perch: a rustic hut on an alpine hill, ringed by Dolomite peaks, with that slow, sun‑drenched Seiser Alm mood. This isn’t standard tourist fare (don’t come looking for pizza). The kitchen keeps it small and local, which is exactly why it’s great: hearty South Tyrolean plates and homemade sweets, done with care. We loved the mix of excellent food, real hospitality, and the kind of views you normally only see on postcards. What to order (trust me): - Start with an Edlweiss Spritz (their signature, Edelweiss liqueur + local gin + herbal tonic) or a Zirben Spritz (stone‑pine liqueur) for an alpine twist. - Pair lunch with a glass from nearby producers: Gump Hof “Mediaevum” (Sauvignon or Weissburgunder) or Pfefferer Pink Rosé from Schreckbichl/Colterenzio. - Food‑wise, lean regional: canederli (dumplings) and a still‑warm apple strudel if you spot them, simple, soulful, and perfect after a ride. Vibe: casual tables outdoors, kids and dogs welcome, and a panoramic terrace that makes you forget time. We parked the bikes by the hut, easy, scenic, and exactly the kind of lunch stop you dream about in the Dolomites. Bottom line: An idyllic, bike‑friendly lunch stop with honest, non‑touristy cooking, a smart alpine drinks list, and the kind of slow‑down setting you’ll plan your next ride around.

Fabulous hangout, no matter if winter or summer. Kids love it here and adults finally found a place to relax. We spent a whole afternoon here and will sure come back as soon as we're anywhere nearby again. Best are the wooden sculptures. Food and beverage typical for Switzerland is not cheap but very tasty. Loved it and will sure come back.

A nice little snack hut high on the Panoramaweg on Alpe di Suisi. Reasonably priced food and drinks, friendly service, and you can’t complain about the view! Stopped in here to shelter from a spring rainstorm while biking and enjoyed a coffee and Tirol Bauern sandwich (€10 total).

Breathtaking views at a very cute hütte, one of the few in the region that is still very original and traditional. The service was friendly and the radler was good. We did not eat, but the desserts looked yummy. The presence of Simba, the cutest and friendliest cat, is definitely an added bonus to the excellent experience...
