Auffällig, dass hier auf das Aufstellen billig aussehender, da mit großen Werbelogos bedruckt, Schirme verzichtet wurde. Dem Umstand, dass hier der Wind durchaus mal kräftiger wehen kann, wurde derart Rechnung getragen, dass diese Hütte zum einen in einer Mulde liegt und dass zum anderen, ein Teil des Aussenbereiches durch schöne Holz-Glas-Elemente einen guten Windschutz bekam. Wer das Skigebiet kennt weiß, dass dieser nicht an allen Tagen hilft und dann gäbe es ja auch noch die Tage mit nur mäßigem Wetter. Auch im Innenbereich der Hütte lässt es sich gut aushalten. Die Familie betreibt zudem einen Agriturismo und ohne es direkt beurteilen zu können gehen wir davon aus, dass dies der Qualität der angebotenen Speisen durchaus zu Gute kommt. Personale cortese, mangiare ottimo e porzioni abbondanti, il tutto ad un giusto prezzo ..... Non sembra neanche di essere in Val Gardena dove, con la scusa di offrirti un servizio, ormai ti fanno pagare, caro, anche l'aria che respiri. Continuate così !!! Da non perdere.

Anno 2020 da 5 Stelle a 2 Stelle ...... Anche quest'anno, come sempre, sono andato alla Baita del Sole. Purtroppo ho riscontrato un cambiamento. Ho sempre trovato personale cortese e disponibile ma questa volta non è andata così. Ho fatto una sosta per mangiare e bere qualcosa (nulla da dire su questo). Un cameriere, abbastanza scostante che, quasi-quasi non mi dato il tempo neanche di sedermi, ha preso l'ordine. Ho mangiato e, mentre finivo la mia bevanda, lo stesso cameriere mi ha avvicinato chiedendomi di pagare il conto asserendo che, il giorno precedente, a quell'ora erano arrivate parecchie persone a pranzare. Insomma, voleva che gli liberarsi il posto ...... Sarà stato anche così ma in quel momento eravamo una decina di sciatori. Pur contrariato (ero in vacanza e non avevo voglia di fare discussioni), ho pagato con la carta di credito ma, con mio immenso stupore, mi sono sentivo chiedere di "arrotondare" il totale ........... cioè, senza un minimo di ritegno, MI HA CHIESTO LA MANCIA.
