I recently had the pleasure of dining at a restaurant nestled in the mountains and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I walked in, the staff greeted me warmly and made me feel at home. The restaurant was beautifully decorated and had a cozy, inviting atmosphere.
The food was absolutely perfect. Every dish that I tried was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The ingredients were fresh and of high quality, and the portions were just right. I especially loved the local specialties on the menu, which showcased the region's unique culinary traditions.
The service was also perfect. The waitstaff was attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. They were quick to refill my water glass and always made sure that I had everything I needed. The attention to detail and genuine care for the customers was evident in every aspect of...
Read moreCafé Annatal. 5.0++ The restaurant is located up the mountain ~1/2 a km. It is primarily visited by hikers and trail bikers, although there is a small parking lot. They are open throughout the day but close at 7.00pm. They have a large outdoor and indoor seating areas. They also have lawn chairs and recliners set up in their lawn area (post meal relaxation). The menu is extensive with both Italian and Austrian offerings. Prices are very reasonable. Following a 4 hour early morning hike, we ordered a cabbage salad, the gnocchi special (gnocchi with pesto), and the wiener schnitzel. The food is outstanding every dish was perfectly prepared. If this restaurant was closer to the downtown and offered dinners it would have a line out the door every evening. Overall, our most enjoyable and best meal during our 5 day...
Read moreLove this mountain hut. It’s a 20-25 min walk from town or you can stop by if you’re on the run that goes right through it. Quite cool to sit outside and watch the skiers & boarders fly by. They have plenty of seating outside, tables in front of the buidling and then benches and sun loungers on the other side of the run (around the fire pit). After the sun went behind the mountain we moved inside where it’s very cute. I started with the smoked sausage and some hot horseradish. The caprese was good - flavorful tomatoes and lots of mozzarella. My husbands spaghetti aglio e olio was delicious. Very garlicky and good portion. I really enjoyed the kaiserschmarrn. My new favorite dessert. The service was very friendly and good wine options. I wanted to go back the next day and try more...
