Perched in the majestic Dolomites, Malga Sanon offers breathtaking views that rival the most stunning vistas in the Italian Alps. Yet, our experience was marred by a lackluster culinary adventure. We were particularly disappointed with their apple strudel, which seemed to be more of a "house-baked" effort, utilizing frozen ingredients rather than a genuine homemade touch. The apples lacked the firmness one expects from a freshly baked strudel, and the crust didn't quite have the homemade bite.
The staff's charm and hospitality were highlights of our visit, particularly our waitress, who stole the show in her leather alpine shorts. Despite the underwhelming food, her warm and engaging demeanor made our experience more enjoyable.
