Ristorante Danubio — Restaurant in San Benedetto del Tronto

We received this restaurant as recommendation for eating good fish, so we went there full of expectations. we took 2 antipasti and a primo. The 2 antipasti were nothing exceptional, the roasted pulpo was cold when it arrives ved to us and the potato puree hard, the sauteed of cozze and vongole just normal. Instead the risotto allo scoglio was fantastic, tasty, aromatic, not too sweet, equilibrated and full of flavours. We tried a local wine a pecorino, that was also good. And as a dessert we had a sorbetto. Service was great and friendly, atmosphere was ok, I would have liked more character instead of an antiseptic white like so many restaurants nowadays. Sconsigliatissimo!!! Ci siamo recati in questo ristorante spinti dalle recensioni positive... In due abbiamo preso la degustazione completa che prevede crudi freddi e caldi e in due solo freddi e caldi ..facendo presente che uno di questi ultimi avendo un intolleranza al pomodoro..avrebbe gradito qualsiasi altra variante senza pomodoro...sono andati completamente in tilt .. portando a loro anche parte della nostra degustazione nn dicendo che era anche per noi, nei nostri vassoi c era parte della loro... Un commensale HA DICHIARATO CHE ERA intollerante al POMODORO e quindi, in ordinazione, ha chiesto la sostituzione delle portate con tale ingrediente… il ristorante non hanno sostituito ciò che non poteva mangiare e quindi non ha potuto mangiare i caldi se non tre scampi e facendo notare questo gli hanno portato cozze e vongole che tra l'altro gli hanno fatto pagare in aggiunta, il personale molto disattento, veniva a ritirare i piatti quando ancora nn avevamo terminato di cenare, massima scortesia, ed oltretutto prese in giro da un cameriere che quando ci siamo recati a pagare il conto....ci ha detto con strafottenza e ignoranza dettato da chissà quale motivazione, che se nn volevamo entrare potevamo anche pagare fuori dal ristorante. Il conto ... 200 euro per due degustazioni antipasti complete e due freddi un caldo e un piatto di cozze e vongole..tutto il resto aggiunto da loro!! Tra l’altro 3 euro per coperto ma senza tovaglia… Pazzesco in ristoranti di classe, dove vado di solito, è tutto molto diverso con cordialità e competenza con qualità e capacità di lavorare… conosco molti proprietari di ristoranti che sono veramente bravi e capaci!

This is an Italian seafood restaurant. It is located in a strategic place easy to reach by car. Large parking area is available just outside the restaurant. About the restaurant: there is a welcome aperitif made of fried seafood and some slices of toasted bread (by mean of an oven) with some genuine olive oil - Delicious! All this beauty comes with a glass of white wine that matches perfectly. About the menu: Depending on your preferences, I strongly believe this is the right place to taste how good is Italian fish. I really enjoyed my time...
