Caffè Del Porto — Restaurant in San Felice del Benaco

Very unfriendly staff. When we moved a table we were told that if everyone is doing it they won't be able to go home at night .. due to too much work before closing ... And when bringing the drinks - we had ordered food and drinks - we were told to pay right then. After our suggestion to pay after having eaten the food, the waitress threw the bills on the table and told us not to lose it. Well ... no place to feel welcome, no place to come back, no place to recommend ! Food was good, prices were reasonable. Btw: the waitress wore the mask underneath her chin - Covid seems to be no issue here ? And the toilets were disgusting - don't forget your own...

Waren am Sonntag, 20.07.25 wieder dort! Der Besitzer hat wohl gewechselt, kurz außer der Sonnenschirme gibt es nichts positives mehr zu berichten! Das Essen eine Katastrophe, die schlechtesten Paninis wahrscheinlich in ganz Italien. Keine Pinsa mehr, der Salat nur Eisbergsalat, billigste Zutaten aus dem Lidl oder Aldi! Auf der Speisekarte SchickiMicki, was auf den Tellern der Tisch Nachbarn auch nicht sonderlich gut aussah und die anderen Gäste sahen auch nicht glücklich aus! Lange Rede, kurzer Sinn, nur noch ein Lokal wie viele andere in dieser Gegend, Tourinepp! Geldmacherei mit wenig Qualität, dass alte Café Porto , welches wir von vielen Besuchen kannten, ist verschwunden und wir jetzt auch, niemals mehr Cafe del Porto! Abgehakt!!

Ci siamo stati di nuovo domenica 20 luglio 2025! Il proprietario sembra essere cambiato, quindi a parte gli ombrelloni, non c'è nulla di positivo da segnalare! Il cibo era un disastro, probabilmente i peggiori panini di tutta Italia. Niente più pinsa, l'insalata era solo lattuga iceberg, con gli ingredienti più economici del Lidl o dell'Aldi! Il menu era elegante, il che non faceva una bella figura sui piatti delle persone sedute accanto a noi, e anche gli altri clienti non sembravano contenti! Per farla breve, solo un altro ristorante come tanti altri in questa zona, spazzatura per turisti! Un'attività a scopo di lucro con scarsa qualità. Il vecchio Café Porto, che conoscevamo da molte visite, non c'è più, e ora ci siamo anche noi; non saremo mai più al Café del Porto! Spuntato!! Vor 2 Jahren: Super, chilliger Ort. Super Personal, Essen war lecker( Hamburger und Pommes). Viele Einheimische, daher ein Garant, dass das Cafe super ist! Schöner Ausblick!...

A stones throw away from the Hotel Sogno, we spent a lot of time at cafe Del Porto, sitting at the stores of lake garda. This place is pet friendly with a variety of well behaved pooches sitting patiently while locals and fellow travellers sampled an assortment of food and drinks at a very reasonable price.

I sampled the pizza while my wife had the caprese salad. Both meals were excellent! The red and white wines were great and the local beer I tried on one occasion was good quality.

Looking forward to visiting...
