We booked a table on Friday on the provided phone number for a Sunday dinner. When we arrived at opening 7pm, only 2 tables were occupied and the waiter escorted us to a table of which he asked if we would be okay with. We were fine with it, but it's nice that they have an option to change if you would want another one. We went with a small size dog which was welcomed by all staff :) We ordered the Florentine steak plate that you can see on the picture. It was 60 euros for 2 person on the menu information (they forgot to mention that the potatoes and veggies coming with it would charge extra so be mindful that we payed around 80 euros for that dish). Still it was worth the money as it was beyond delicious and also we were hardly able to finish (though we are both oversize and have appetite :)). My mother had a pasta dish with beef ragu if I'm not mistaken and that was amazing as well. She is a picky eater and found it delish. We wanted to get some wine with our order, we don't like dry wines but oh well it's Tuscany so we wished for just one glass each (I was driving so I couldn't drink much alcohol) and the waiter talked us into buying a whole bottle (really it was our fault, and Italian waiters are like that if you haven't noticed on your previous travels :P so all good) My parents had a cappuccino and a decaf espresso after the meal. we ended up paying around 160 euros for the whole thing for 3 of us. Location and building also worth the visit, we took some nice pictures and you can also see San Gimignano off in the distance once you make your way back to the parking lot, which is dusty but plenty. Would visit again to try...

Great location and beautiful view but you will not be able to enjoy the view if you are a tourist. We booked a table with the view but upon arrival we were told that there are no tables available. We were brought to sit under a tent with the only view to the white walls of it. There were plenty of tables with the view when we came and there were still 2 tables available when we left I was watching the people. All the tourists were brought to the tent and all the Italians were given the tables in the garden with a view. The service was bad waitress was rude. Food was not tasty and overall nobody wanted to talk to us about our complaints. I traveled a lot in italy and can tell that the food was at least lower quality then average. Big dissatisfaction and...

Found this place in the hills on outskirts of San G. We arrived pretty late for lunch so there was only our table, plus one other. We were advised that pizza wasn't available at that time. This turned out to be a blessing as it forced even the hardest pizza nuts in our party to make other menu choices. Fresh Crab pasta (yes he did bring it to the table before it was dispatched). The local Boar Ragu was also very good and the caprese salad was big enough for 2. The mixed meat with steak, sausage, ribs went down well. All washed down with some wine and water. We wanted to return in the evening to try more on the menu but the rime got away and we moved to a...

Owner & Executive Chef #Raffaele #DeRosa hosts guests high on a hill overlooking #SanGimignano in #Tuscany, #Italy. We arrive as the sun is setting in all its brilliance. #ChefAndrea, #HotelGarden in #Siena is my host. The magic prevails during a continuous presentation of seafoods creatively prepared & presented by Chef Raffaele DeRosa The #waitstaff serve us emoting much pride of everything Chef Raffaele has created. Fresh seafoods are sourced locally. Many house specialties. Chef #Raffaele’s #wife also arrives to greet us with much enthusiasm to delight us with every course. Her #energy is infectuous and quite indulging! Xoxoxo Bonnie from New York City.
