We wish we could give more than 5 stars! This was the best meal we have had in Italy! There are 4 in our party & we have been travelling in Tuscany for over a week. The location was so beautiful and the dining room was elegant. The staff (all family) were awesome. Super attentive! Everything we ate was superb! From the onion tarte tatin which was sweet & savory and completely delicious. The rabbit ragu with pasta was well balanced. The bone marrow was unctuous & rich, so perfect. The pork roast & belly with apricot sauce was sublime and the salted cod was full of flavor & texture. The duck was perfectly cooked and exceeded expectations. The wine was from the vineyard on site and was one of the best bottles of Chianti we have tried. Dessert, OMG. The poached pear with salted caramel & ricotta was an explosion of flavor and a winning combo of sweet & salty. The chocolate dessert was rich but light, even if it sounds impossible! The buckwheat white chocolate tart was imaginative & unique but delicious. We cannot say enough good things about this place. We felt like family and there was a relaxed atmosphere with amazingly creative dishes....

We have had a debate to give 4 or 5 stars. The quality, the creativity, the location and the service are extra ordinary. The food is exquisite and something very special. The housewine Casanova du Pescille for just 12 euros is a great deal. The food itself has quite small portions and Is very high priced - this was the argument against 5€. But as far as we praise good food we are giving the 5 stars. We have had the lasagna, the risotto (but without the meat), the ravioli as a prime and as a dessert the cheesecake, the pistachio mousse and the goat...

Ate dinner here Saturday night. Wife declared dinner the best we have had on our two week visit to Italy. The onion tarte was to die for. Saw that Chef Saverio gave cooking classes. Signed up for four course Tuscany meal class today. Learned a lot. Tasted even better. Got to meet three generations of the family that run the agritourismo, staff the restaurant, grow the fine wine and olives for olive oil and grow saffron. What an incredible education. Can’t wait to get home and try...
