La Cialda — Restaurant in San Giovanni Rotondo

I am a tourist and I understand that there will be a language barrier between me and the staff. It is frustrating to not understand someone talking so I understand that part. I don’t know how the system in this specific store works but i kept the receipt because that’s usually for the customer to keep as a copy and proof of purchase and for some reason it was taken from us so our order can be completed?? I was so confused but anyway the receipt was not given back but we got our food. Our food was supposed to be heated but only half of them was hot. The rest were still cold. Panzerotto was the only good food there was. I think Im being generous with 2 stars. I recommend comparing prices and read the reviews first before going to the first food place you see after visiting convento santa maria...

Well. We have received cold food. We asked for heating it twice. Not too high quality of meals. And I regret. We found big piece of plastic in the meal. I brought it to the employees of the restaurant. They saw it, did not say even sorry and took it to the kitchen. End of story. Nobody said anything or was interested in making up whole situation. Solitamente è la nostra tappa fissa quando veniamo da quelle parti ma dall'anno scorso a questa parte la qualità del cibo è diventata pessima . Abbiamo preso come sempre il menù turistico. Un risotto che era una pappina, lontano da un risotto vero. Scaloppine al vino acidula. Prosciutto crudo salato. Contorno di verdure incommentabile. L'unica cosa positiva pane e patatine fritte . I camerieri scortesi e poco empatici. Capisco il menù turistico e che quindi non ci si aspetta il top, ma menù turistico non è sinonimo di cibo scadente .

Aggiungo la mancanza di empatia e serietà !! abbiamo dimenticato al "ristorante " se così si può chiamare, una busta con dei ricordini di padre pio, abbiamo gentilmente chiamato e chiesto di poterci spedire il tutto (a carico nostro), ci è stato detto prima che nn assicuravano di poterla conservare per il cambio turno ecc, poi di richiamare, dopo mille giri di chiamate negative e spaesate da parte del " personale " e un continuo passamano, ci è stato detto di riprovare lunedì!
