Mille806 Cocktail Restaurant — Restaurant in Sanremo

An evening to forget. Starting with the positive: the food here is indeed delicious. We liked every bite. The service however was not only subpar, it was shameful. When ordering drinks to start the evening, the waiter pushed us to order appetizers as well, as the night was going to get “increasingly busy” so we did. While ordering these appetizers (each costing about 9 euro) the waiter asked if we wanted to share them. We said yes. He offered to make the amounts equal to make sharing easier. 2 minutes after ordering drinks we already received the appetizers. Shortly after we saw that every other table received complementary snacks with their drinks, which we did not, because he brought our appetizers. 2 minutes after we finished the waiter came to push us on main course decisions. When we said we wanted to wait he discussed again that we would lose our position and would have to wait longer. Having had enough we asked the cheque only to notice he charged us 12 euro for the extra gyoza and fish croquet. (1 piece of each, while the dishes were under 10 euro each)

Can only recommend! Really AMAZING service. The staff was so friendly, attentive, and lovely. They chatted with us and helped us find the perfect wine, drinks, and food. 🍷 🍴 The food was amazing and delicious, and I would really recommend sharing to try as much as possible. We got the ceviche, both types of tacos, duck, cheese, and an amazing expresso tiramisu 🤤 It was just so good and different food, and fresh. If there were things they were out of, they were good to find alternatives for us and just really sweet people. The location is really nice and quiet and not full of tourists walking by, which I thought was nice. And generally nice atmosphere and good music. I can't speak highly enough of this place. We were a walk-in of 6 ppl and needed reorganization of the table set-up, which they did swiftly. Starting with the service, this was excellent. Every single staff member was helpful, friendly and patient. The recommendations were great. Additionally, one of us was a bit cold (due to a noticeable draft) even though temperatures were high. Without mention, the host noticed and offered a never-worn company sweater for her to wear. The food and cocktails, as mentioned by numerous reviewers before me, were superb.
