An amazing place with a marvelous pizza!!

Mariano and his pizzeria are the sort of gems that makes me love Italy and comeback every year.

The pizzas created and made by Mariano himself are absolutely delicious, the best of the Naples style Italian pizza! And the fact that it is hidden makes it true and genuine; this is a place where you can experience the best of Italy. It is not a big commercial place, it is the perfect opposite of a tourist trap. I felt home and welcome, with good people all around, and Mariano is an amazing host, really interested in receiving you with open arms.

My wife and I also stayed at his BnB, and on the last day of our stay, he took us to town down the hill in his car, stopping at a bakery to treat us to some delicious pasties!

The pizzas we had at Anima e Pizza were perfectly cooked and the best I've had for a very long time! The correct dough thickness, the correct toppings, all very tasty and beautifully done! I know this will sound like a stereotype, but Mariano's pizzas are made with love.

piccola pizzeria rustica e isolata, difficile da raggiungere per chi non ha mezzi propri, ma se vi trovate in penisola e volete assaggiare la vera pizza napoletana è decisamente il posto che fa per voi!

il locale è davvero piccolo e predilige principalmente pizze da asporto, in alternativa ci sono 2 piccoli tavolini all'interno, e un tavolo per 4 persone all'esterno (non è coperto), se chiamate con anticipo e state in comitiva potete prenotare una piccola sala privata a pochi metri dalla pizzeria. In estate potete occupare i tavoli che stanno nella piazzetta a pochi metri dal locale, e godervi una cena comodamente sulle panchine mentre si trova rifugio dalla calura.

la pizzeria è dislocata dalla cittadina, zona di "trasaella", quindi è un posto davvero molto tranquillo, è preferibile raggiungere il posto con un ciclomotore (ci sono davvero pochi posti auto).

consigliate le pizze "kikia" e "estate", specialità della casa, e il crocchè fatto a mano.

PS: la pizzeria ogni sera ha a disposizione un limitato numero di panetti di pizza... quindi se si vuole cenare dopo le 10 è fortemente consigliato prenotare per tempo, per non rischiare di rimanere a...

Decided to go here for my last dinner/pizza in Sorrento and Amalfi coast. Supee happy with my decision as it was a perfect pizza to end the trip.
