California Café — Restaurant in Santa Teresa di Riva

Noisy and overly crowded, I prefer quieter environments, but that's just me. People gather here for socializing over a drink or a quick meal. Pastry is of the frozen type, just like Autogrills. Ice cream is just average, but coffee and cappuccino are first rate. Staff can be friendly or rushing, it depends on how busy. Years ago they had great food at lunch time, cafeteria style. The style is the same, food not so much. I'm a non smoker and people like me won't be able to enjoy the outdoor seating and since the inside is all open there is really no way to avoid second hand smoke. Too bad because there is a fantastic view...
