Licu e Giuannicu — Restaurant in Santadi

Tough one to review, the atmosphere is absolutely perfect, you get the vibe of a popular restaurant in a small Italian town. However… the food is a bit of a hit and miss. I’ve visited 3 times in the last 3 days - the pizzas, steak, seafood and desserts were great, however some of the meats were just not tasty and the tomato pasta lacked flavour. The service is really friendly, but it seems that what you order and what you get are 2 different things, even if you point to the item in the menu. You orders ribs? You get a steak. You order coke? We had an amazing dinner at Licu e Giuannicu! We tried the calzone and the Sappueddus pasta with fresh tomato sauce, basil, and pecorino—both were a perfect 10/10. Sono andata a cena in questo ristorante con la mia famiglia per mangiare una pizza. Siamo arrivati alle 21.20 e abbiamo ordinato alle 21.30 3 pizze, il locale non era pieno ma nonostante ciò ci hanno messo 40 minuti per far uscire queste 3 pizze, inoltre non è che fossero un gran chè. Dopo di che abbiamo deciso di prendere il dolce, e anche per questo abbiamo dovuto attendere quasi 25 minuti nonostante il locale fosse ormai praticamente vuoto. Abbiamo ordinato 2 affogati al caffè e un gelato. L'affogato ci arriva senza caffè e io da cliente penso: lo dico e sicuramente me ne portano subito un altro con il caffè già dentro, invece ci portano il caffè a parte e neanche si scusano per l errore. Inutile dirvi che quando ci hanno portato il caffè ormai avevamo quasi già finito il dolce. Andiamo per pagare e ci prendono pure in giro dicendoci che non ci avrebbero fatto pagare il caffè (che comunque non avremmo dovuto pagar lo stesso anche se il dolce fosse arrivato giusto perchè il dolce si chiama affogato al caffè) invece sullo scontrino ci hanno fatto pagare prezzo pieno di tutto.
