Ristorante Lu Impostu — Restaurant in Santu Diadòru/San Teodoro

I visited this Restaurant with my Friends (12 Persons) to have Dinner. I orderd an Tomato mozzarella salad for an appetizer and some pasta, my Friends chose fish and meat. We waited a Long time for the Food to arrive, wich i thought was ok since we were a big group. Troubles started here..only 4 of my friends recieved their meal the rest had to keep waiting. My Friends told me the food tastes bland and was really boring. My Dish was simple so i thought i was save. 1 tomato sliced with a little mozzarella was all i got..pasta was soggy with a tomato sauce wich tasted like cheap eurospin Ragu Sauce..my girlfriends Fish was cold when it arrived and the Pulpo/Octopus was chewey. I asked for some extra Parmesan cheese and i only recieved a tiny bit, the servant was really stubborn and unfriendly and made the Wohle Situation akward.

Food arrived on different times. Some times Cold. Tiny Appetizer (1 Tomato little bits of cheese for 15 Euros) Very Expensive / Low Quality

Were recommended this restaurant from friends who go to Sardinia almost every year, multiple times. Their review to us was “good food, rude service.” This is spot on! Even with the warning about rude service, we were still surprised. We arrived 20 min before they opened for lunch and sat by the flower beds on their terrace to wait and were asked to sit in the bar area instead to wait-our daughter made a mess of the bar tables instead. When they opened at 12:30 precisely they sat down two tables before us and told us that we would have to wait to order because there were 2 tables ahead of us... We ordered a few things and they forgot one of our pastas, when we asked about it they told us we didn’t order it, even though we both recall ordering it. In the end, we weren’t offended but found it humorous. They don’t have a kids menu and you can’t ask for a half portion of pasta either. I would not recommend going and expecting lovely service. First impression nice restaurant near the beach where you can eat several dishes from sardinian cuisine besides pizza or pasta. However, it started all wrong with the service, the waiters were rude and despite arriving early and after booking in advance, they didn't let us choose our table and sat us in a corner despite the restaurant being empty the time we arrived. The quality of the food is nothing special regarding the price. Paid over 200 euros for two to receive very small portions of octopus and fish. The meat is absolutely to avoid (chewey and tasteless) the wine horrible (despite a high price per bottle). The bottle of regular water billed at 7 euros and ONE small basket of bread over 4 euros PER PERSON. We had good expectations for this restaurant but got out very dissapointed with food and...
