Il Ristorantino di Ali' — Restaurant in Sarzana

We didn’t have a reservation, but surprisingly got a table within the minute of us entering the restaurant. But that’s about everything that was pleasant about the visit. The complementary bread we were served was dried out and hard as a brick. As Antipasti we ordered the Pulpo e Patate which was okay size wise but was missing flavor. It was also a bit dry. Then, as mains, my parents each chose the Grigliata mista (seafood grill mix) which came together on one plate the serving size of one dish, and I chose the Tuna which compared to the tables around us ordering the same dish as me was notably smaller than the others. The Italians ordering the Tuna were served different garnishes on top the tuna as well as almost twice the amount of Tuna on a plate much bigger than mine. This was honestly quite the let- down but after skimming through some negative reviews we were met with the same experience from others. Do not recommend this restaurant as a tourist, and if it’s your only option - go for the menu as it comes with bigger...

This was, without exaggeration, one of the worst dining experiences of my life. A complete embarrassment of a restaurant.

The pasta was an insult to the word “food.” Greasy, salty, flavourless, a sad puddle of olive oil pretending to be a meal. Calling it “pesto” is an outright lie there wasn’t a trace of the actual pesto i wanted anywhere. The portion size? A joke. I’ve seen bigger servings in a baby’s lunchbox.

I ordered a can of Coke twice. Not once. BUT twice. And somehow, hours passed without it appearing. How do you fail at delivering a basic drink? pussioooooo

To top it off, I asked for a dessert menu and never got one. Not a glance, not a word, nothing. That’s not just poor service it’s pure negligence.

This place is a black hole for time, money, and appetite. Nothing here works not the kitchen, not the service, not the basic respect for paying customers. on everything i love 1 star is generous

The food is ok. Definitely not wow, but at the same time, the price is really good. Take that into consideration. Unfortunately, the service for us was nothing compared to what I read here. It was not really good at all. Some of the staff are really nice, smiling and doing their best. Unfortunately, it does not apply to all. The waitress left 15 seconds after she started her interaction with us and we were asking for explanation what is on the menu. This is unacceptable, especially since the restaurant was not full. I had to wait 20min for my second beer. I never got it from the waitress assigned to our table. She always forgot about it but made sure to bring drinks to other tables. Our table was not emptied of plates after we finished eating, but only when the second platter came in. Overall, the food is really good compared to the price. It would be nice if the service would...
