During the morning time, it is a shop for local foods, during the evening it is a restaurant with tables outside. One of the best restaurants I've ever visited in my life! You will be served by Andreo, it's owner. He is perfectionist in foods. If you eat something with seafood - it means it was caught the same day. If you eat capers and olives - they are one of the best in whole Italy. As for the shop - Andreo always help you with the selection. Most of all, he will give you to taste the products. We were on a walk trip to San Nicolo church in the late afternoon. While going back to bar Vitteli the good will made us to enter this lovely place. The open-minded we entered to check the wines, which you could see on the shelves even from outside and some half an hour later we get out with few bottles, some chocolates, pistachio and biggest smiles from this trip. The owner is a great storyteller and we got really a first hand impression for Provincia di Messina. As for March, 5 p.m. it was nice to drink some wine on foot inside and I guess it is also great to sit outside when it's warmer.

We stayed at the Borgo San Rocco and found this place by accident while walking around before dinner. Decided to have a drink and enjoy the view. Had a friendly and casual chat with Andrea the owner and he invited us to a little wine tasting and sharing some information about the local food. The next evening, we went here for dinner and it was absolutely wonderful. Beautiful setting with the San Nicola church (Godfather 1) and Calabria in the background and relaxed atmosphere.
