Ristorante da Carmen — Restaurant in Senigallia

Even though I'm not generally particularly fond of fish-based cuisine, I was thoroughly impressed with the dishes here.

The dishes were both extremely well prepared and interesting, satisfying both taste buds and my curiosity for something that wasn't "just" the usual trite fish dishes like your run of the mill "Spaghetti alle Vongole".

Even the more "classic" dishes like the "Fritto all'Adriatica" had their own character and managed to impress.

The service was warm and quick.

The price is on the high side but warranted by the general experience of the place. I didn't feel like I got ripped off at all and the end price was still well within reason for a full course meal of fish based dishes.

This is a really good fish restaurant in Senigallia , located on the Adriatic Sea side beach . Everything that we ordered was delicious and well prepared, but it looks like a chef fell in love because food was a little bit too salty :) But even that didn't make me change my mind to give five stars , because everything was fresh, flavoured, tasty and well arranged on the plate. Portions are a little bit small, in my opinion, but for Italy, especially for a fish restaurant, it's ok. I can recommend this place for everyone who loves fish food, you'll be satisfied, but you need to book a table , because it's popular and it was full even on a rainy Wednesday. We had an outstanding dining experience at Carmen today! While visiting Senigallia, we arrived around 19:00, not realizing that most places start dinner service after 19:30. Our 5-year-old was quite hungry and a bit grumpy. However, the staff at Carmen were incredibly accommodating. They kindly explained that they typically open at 19:30 but graciously seated us immediately.

The chef went above and beyond by promptly offering to take our daughter's order to ensure she didn't wait too long. He suggested a delightful pasta dish that she devoured eagerly. It was a lifesaver!
