Amazing restaurant near Mazzeo beach with incredible service and ocean views! We stayed near Letojanni and ended up returning 2 nights in a row because the food, service, and value were so much better than any restaurants we tried in the town of Taormina. The menu is huge with delicious options for anyone including appetizers (the parma ham and melon was the best we tried the whole trip), a large selection of pastas (we loved the arrabbiata and ravioli), meat, and fish. Despite the high quality and fresh ingredients, the prices are very competitive for the area and we were able to have a 3 course meal for 2 including wine for 50 euros. The Signora running this place is so nice! She made me feel very welcome even though I showed up quite late and alone. She made a special seafood pasta for me that left out the shrimp to accommodate my allergy. They brought out generous portions of bread and bruschetta and olives, and best of all: a half-liter carafe of local vino rosso was only €5. Toen ik de reviews las en veel 5 sterren beoordelingen had ik zoiets van "Dat kan niet". Maar om eerlijk te zijn "Het kan wel!". Wat is dit restaurant een verademing tussen alle andere restaurants. Niet alleen wat de kwaliteit van het eten betreft. Want dat is het beste wat we tot nu toe hier in de omgeving hebben gehad. Maar ook de rust waarmee alles gaat. Je kunt hier gewoon een avondje heerlijk eten. Je krijgt niet ineens alles op je tafel maar alles gaat in stappen met voldoende tijd er tussen. Je bent niet gehaast aan het eten maar je hebt gewoon een relaxte avond met heerlijk eten ! Dat zijn wij hier nog niet tegen gekomen. Plus dat de prijs ook nog eens behoorlijk concurrent is vergeleken met de rest (blijven nederlanders he ..). En ook geen vel licht wat je hier veel ziet maar gewoon gezellige verlichting wat al meteen een andere sfeer geeft. En dat je aan de weg zit is geen enkel probleem hier. En je kunt als je wil uiteraard ook binnen eten. Zelf ben ik echte vleeseter en hier hebben ze steak. Niet zoals in Nederland maar niks minder lekker moet ik zeggen.
