This is an exceptional restaurant, with different, interesting and brilliantly cooked and presented food. The menu, which changes daily, is original and all the dishes are local, using fresh ingredients. It is a true gem. We are so pleased we saw it from the street and went in. My wife and I enjoyed one of the best meals we’ve ever had, starting with imaginative and delightful antipasti. There is a small but excellent selection of Salento wines. Alla faccia dell’Home Restaurant! Libidinoso… Andrea e Rita ci hanno accolto nella loro home restaurant che non ha nulla da togliere a ristoranti di alto livello. Abbiamo festeggiato il compleanno di mio papà, siamo partiti con un antipasto per 2 persone: polpette al sugo strepitose, alici marinate, sformato di patate.. verdure di campagna.. crocchette di patate locali.. formaggio con miele noci e mirtilli .. etc.. dopo abbiamo scelto la zuppa di pesce che è un concentrato di gusto e tradizione, Andrea ci ha raccontato che la ricetta è di sua nonna. I miei genitori invece i ravioli di cernia (finiti subito neppure fatto in tempo a fotografarli!) Per secondo abbiamo preso le strepitose costine glassate a bassa temperatura (si nota subito che questo chef ha avuto un esperienza eccellente all estero.. soprattutto in Austria perché lavora la carne in un modo eccezionale) costine di agnello e frittura calamari e gamberi. Non vi aspettate un home restaurant. E’ un ristorante stellato dove tradizione si unisce al buon gusto. I prezzi sono nella media considerando la qualità del cibo. I dolci sempre fatti da loro sono la ciliegina sulla torta. Fanno anche i liquori. Hanno anche una cucina a parte per gluten free!
