La Fraschetta — Restaurant in Terranuova Bracciolini

We went here on the last evening of our holiday and what a pity because if you go, you want to come back the next day to have a taste of everything they have on the menu. The owners which are super friendly and really love what they do serve delicious food in a sandwich or just on a plate like tartare in various forms. They only have cold dishes but so nice and refined you only want more. This place is small, only a couple of tables inside and some more outside on the terras so please give them a call upfront to reserve your table. We were passing by from Prada Montevarchi to Firenze & because of the rating, we thought to try it out. The lady chef (speaks English) and waiter were very friendly & hospitable. We had the charcuterie as appetizer & tartare (note that they do not have hot meals). Just for the positive service I can already highly recommend. Abbiamo cenato/fatto aperitivo nel dehor esterno. I proprietari sono persone deliziose e il cibo è davvero ottimo. Il loro menù comprende principalmente tartare e varianti di questa, buonissima. Il rapporto qualità/prezzo è ottimo. Abbiamo preso un antipasto da dividere “Rocher” che sono palline di tartare fritte su un pezzetto di schiacciata croccante con maionese classica e maionese all’aglio nero, buonissimi, a parole non si può spiegare quello che si prova mangiando una delizia del genere. Poi abbiamo preso una tartare classica, un panino con tartare, avocado, pomodori, maionese e un panino con tartare classico. Dire che era tutto buonissimo è riduttivo. Per finire dei mini cannoli, la ricotta morbida e saporita. È tutto ottimo, se ci vai non rimarrai deluso! La selezione di vini è ricercata e particolare.
