terrible service.

they accepted order for a food they couldn't prepare (it was on the menu but they didn't have ingredients), said nothing about it and brought something different, acting like it was our fault and typical 'we don't speak English' behavior.

it ruined the evening since we just argued with hands and translator whole time, both with zero success. if they just said 'mi scusi, that one is on us', we would get one more bottle of pretty good prosecco, left some good tips and walked away. everybody happy.

but it didn't go like that which means they don't care. and if they don't care, they aren't worth visiting. there are better places.

Stumbled upon this place tonight on our last evening in San Giovanni without a reservation and it was fantastic! Authentic Italian food and hospitality. Every single member of staff was smiling and friendly from the moment we walked in. The food was delicious- we had an appetiser of cod, courgette flower and arancini, spaghetti with garlic and chilli, cacio e pepe, chicken with olives & wine sauce & meatballs in butter. Everything was absolutely delicious & plenty of vegetarian options. The owner was really lovely and chatted with us. Un piccolo angolo di Roma nel cuore della Sardegna! Questo ristorante a conduzione familiare è una vera chicca! Un ristorante nuovo della zona. Ambiente caldo e accogliente,personale cordiale,simpatico e sempre disponibile. Ogni piatto racconta passione e tradizione,si percepisce chiaramente che è preparato con passione! Io e il mio fidanzato abbiamo gustato una deliziosa pasta alla carbonara,lui una buonissima matriciana,a seguire polpette al sugo☺️ Ogni piatto è stato una bontà indescrivibile: ingredienti di qualità,porzioni abbondanti e sapori autentici. Ogni forchettata è stata un vero e proprio dono per il palato. Complimenti davvero. Certo,c’è un po’ d’attesa tra l’ordine e l’arrivo delle portate…ma ne vale assolutamente la pena!
