DO NOT stay here. After our first night, we woke up with bites on our bodies which we assumed were mosquito bites. However, after the 2nd night, I woke up with an additional 45 bites all over my body, which seemed unusual. We then found many bloodstains on the sheets from that night and bed bugs in the room (not just on the bed, on the walls etc). The owner/manager (Giampaolo) moved us to a new room, which was the minimum we would expect. We were happy with the new room, however we felt we deserved some compensation, considering we now had to wash everything we brought with us & knowing that we could take the bugs home with us (which can result in £300 to professionally remove). Additionally, on arrival we had to pay an extra €50 for our sheets, which seemed ridiculous. It was only fair to ask for this and the first two nights (where we slept with bed bugs) back. However, Giampaolo refused to give us any compensation at all. He said they had never experienced bed bugs at the hotel before and we must have brought them. We have never experienced bed bugs and there was no way we brought them with the amount that were in the room. We then looked at some previous reviews and found 2 separate reviews within the last year that complained about bed bugs in the same part of the hotel. I showed him the reviews to which he said, “they don’t matter, they were a while ago”. He clearly would not admit that he had lied to us. Giampaolo also stated that “bed bugs are not a problem”, which shows that he has previously not taken them seriously and removed them professionally. ||||When trying to explain why I felt we deserved some compensation back, he stood over me and raised his voice. Here’s a small selection of the rude comments he made: “the bed bugs are your fault”, “it’s your problem, not mine”, “I don’t care about having happy customers”, “I am old and have all the money I need now, i’m not giving any back to you”. Due to his aggressive tone of voice, I got emotional, as I have never been treated like this as a customer. His wife (co manager) intervened and kindly offered to take our clothes to a laundrette and tried to offer some compensation, to which her husband (Giampaolo) then raised his voice at her too and refused to come to any compromise. ||||The next day, his wife kindly reimbursed us €50 for the sheets. We would have expected more due to the hassle of moving apartments, experiencing painful bites, terrible customer service and having to spend hours washing our clothes/bedding when back home to ensure we did not bring the bugs back. ||||I have never written a bad review before, however I have felt it is necessary to let potential future customers know this. If Giampaolo had dealt with this in a professional and considerate way, we wouldn’t have left a bad review. I would highly recommend to NOT stay here. A manager should never make his guests cry, then continue to be rude to them. Giampaolo is a horrible person. He is deceiving and his customers & wife deserved to be treated with...

Half of my family were in the apartment and as my Mum walks with a stick they made sure hers were on the ground floor. The apartment were a little tied but this apartment can easily accommodate 3 people. the kitchenette had all the amenities but no kettle but you can boil the water. Apartment No. 2 looked directly onto the swimming pool and Mountains beyond. The pool was very clean and there were always sun beds available. I was situated in the hotel where the reception and the breakfast room is situated. My room was more than adequate with good fitted wardrobe space comfortable beds. Clean spaceous bathroom with walk in shower. The balcony was a good size with table and chairs. The room also come with a small fridge which was adequate for leaving water and sun creams in and a safe to lock away any valuables which is totally free.||At breakfast time we were always greeted with "Buongiorno" and a service with a smile. There was cereals, a good range of bread and rolls. A good selection of tea, coffee and juices. Clara would always ask if you would like scrambled eggs and you had a selection of hams, cold meats and cheese to introduce to you breakfast. You could also finish of with with fruit and a selection of yogurts.||This building also has a small gym that has a treadmill, 2 bikes, a bench and free weights which I did use and I was in there on my own.||La Caletta means Small Harbour and could be seen from the breakfast room and patio. The beaches are in walking distance with white sand lots of space. I came to this resort for a relaxing holiday and got just that. ||There are nice fish, pizza and pasta restaurants and everyone speaks a little English and I tried to speak a little Italian back which they appreciated.||Once again I like to thank Jean-Paul and Clara for all their help and making our holiday an...
