Had a great experience here. I wanted to find a place to eat outside of Naples but close enough that I could catch the circumvesuviana train back to my Naples hotel. This spot in trecase fit the bill. I arrived about 7 very early for Italian dinner and the place was empty except the chef. As he was prepping for the evening he conversed with me in very good English and provided me an English language menu. I ordered the caprese and some local wine. The caprese was excellent by far the best I’ve had. Additionally, the chef fried up a few thin sliced potatoes and nicely salted complimentary. I ordered the rigatoni and a dish of tuna. The rigatoni was tasty, very hot, fresh and nicely Al dente. Following the the caprese and the pasta I was very full and the waiter (whom had arrived later for the traditional Italian dinner crowd) recommended I forgo the tuna and go on to tiramisu. What a great suggestion and I greatly appreciated the flexibility of the team even if it cost them a dish order. The waiter was effective and friendly in communicating even if his English was not as polished as the chefs.

This experience had all the things we love about travel. I was treated like a family member or guest, invited to experience the local cuisine and also accommodated despite the early hour, limited Italian skills and throw in a peekaboo view of capri as well. I also was the only tourist there and it was authentic. I paid my bill (which exactly matched the prices as advertised on the menu with no service or table charge. Overall for 48€ I had more than enough food and wine. If my wife had been with me we would have both been completely satisfied with one more entree for a total bill of about 60€. Great experience highly...

No issue with the service. Food was overpriced and not very tasty. Mains came out with a few minute interval, not normally an issue but there was only two of us and two dishes to bring out. They also forgot a starter we had ordered, however I think it might have been a translation issue, and we weren’t charged for it. Fish wasn’t that fresh, especially considering how close to the sea we are, beef was awful. No seasoning, not even salt. It was tasteless. Also the beef was meant to come with seasonal vegetables, it came on a bed of limp iceberg lettuce and a few tomatoes. Easy location, would recommend to go...
