S'Apposenteddu — Restaurant in Tortolì

I arrived shortly after they'd opened at lunchtime. The atmosphere was chilled, and the staff were warm and welcoming. The chef was whistling (I found that lovely!) and took his time on the dishes, which were absolutely delicious.

I had the malloreddus al ragu' bianco di pecora (sheep's ragu with gnocci-esque homemade pasta). The sauce was divine - I believe it was with sage and sheep's cheese. For dessert, I had the seadas, a typical dish of the island. It had ricotta inside as well as lemon sorbet on the side. I was very happy with what I chose. The menu seems to be seasonal, as I didn't notice seafood on it this time.

Honestly this was the best food that I have had in Sardinia!! Absolutely delicious. The pairing with different herbs was just divine!! And those potatoes were just chefs kiss 🤌🏼💋

Felt like someone made a Sunday lunch filled with lots of love and 100% freshly made!

Not to be dramatic but I wish I could take takeaways back home with me - it was just that good!!

This restaurant is the best we had in Sardinia. Amazing food, great service, cute location. The stewed mussels is to die for, it's like something familiar and cozy, warms your heart - but at the same time there's something new, something subtly unexpected to it.
