Ristorante Castellaccio — Restaurant in Travo

My God, I haven't had such good time in a restaurant in quite a while. Where to start... With its owner that is full time there, slicing delicious cheeses, opening a nice selection of wines with such joy it is a treat to watch. Two sisters (his daughters maybe), as service that is beyond capable, flying around, not walking, but still descrete, professional, unnoticable. When smoking and sipping wine outside one of them remembered to turn the heater outside despite all the rush inside. Marvelous. Food was perfect. The restaurant has the works when comes to drinks, wines, spirits, deserts, chesses, all courses. A REAL restaurant. I enjoyed every second beeing...

Excellent restaurant in the outskirts of Rivergaro. Worth to plan a trip or a detour if you are looking for fine dinning in that area. Reservations are highly recommended. Exceptional local cuisine and carefully select list of wines....

10 giugno 2018- 1 anno di matrimonio, cena al castellaccio. Posto bello niente da dire, unica pecca tavoli troppo vicini, sentivamo i discorsi degli altri commensali e non era c erto atmosfera da anniversario (nonostante all atto della prenotazione avessi specificato!) Menu limitato, come antipasto: -salumi (niente da dire) -tartare di scampi e gamberi immangiabile, probabilmente pesce non piu buono ma in posto del genere servire una cosa cosi è una bestemmia culinaria. Secondi: -tagliata (cotta anche bene ma ricoperta da una salsina verde molto acida e non specifita sul menu che ne copriva totalmente il sapore rendendo il piatto immangiabile) 120 euro spesi ma probabilmente da altre parti mangiavamo meglio e...
