Al Ragno hosteria di un tempo — Restaurant in Treviso

Many of the reviews are by local guides, and I feel that we were misled. We are travelers from Berlin. We went here, without a reservation, and the staff were nice enough to set up a table for us. However, afterwards the food took 2 hours to arrive, and we had a flight to catch soon. It's pricey by German standards, and one can find better food for the price in Germany. The food was not so tasty. The atmosphere was crowded and boisterous with locals playing Foosball and shouting the entire time. It was a very nice evening to spend at Al Ragno. The barman, although not fluent in english, made an effort and talked to us quite a lot. On the night we went to this place the kitchen was closed but we were offered very good alternatives such as parma ham, porchetta, salami and we enjoyed these a lot. In my view, they’ve got rather good wine...

Non sono solita fare recensioni ma questo locale merita davvero un grande apprezzamento! Io ed i miei amici siamo tornati a casa veramente felici e soddisfatti. Abbiamo mangiato benissimo, dai cicchetti (assolutamente da provare) ai bigoli (sia con pesto che con ragù), al polpo (davvero buonissimo e super consigliato, cottura perfetta) al contorno con radicchio di Treviso (coltivato da loro) che aveva un gusto speciale. Si nota subito l’amore e la passione che il titolare mette nel proprio lavoro e questo ci ha lasciati davvero entusiasti. I piatti vengono preparati sul momento quindi c’è da aspettare quei 15/20 minuti ma posso assicurare che è un’attesa che merita assolutamente la pena!
