Pesce & Farina — Restaurant in Trezzano sul Naviglio

Very good impression. I had a very good tartare: tuna was perfect: fresh, tasty and juicy but the dressing wasn't balanced. It's a common mistake to have an heavy hand on dressing but instead they were too light: I ate tuna with nothing else. The main course was good but not memorable: flavours were there and the pasta was well cooked but the quantity of the sea hen in the plate wasn't enough. Nope. Again the dessert, a crem bruile, missed something. I'll update this review in the next future: I will definitely try again this restaurant because I lived in Trezzano 15 yrs ago and there was nothing even close to this quality when I lived here. We had a lunch for 4 and although I did read some bad reviews about this place, the overall rating seemed good, so we decided to give it a shot. The food lacked flavours. The famous scallop pasta is overcooked. Raw fish appetiser consisted of only plain raw fish with no dressing or even lemon. Sardines appetiser that cost around 15 euro was a can of sardines ! Out of 10 plates ordered for the table we did enjoy a grilled fish. Would not go back. Overpriced...

Overpriced for what it's offer. €15 for fried mixed fish bowl (tiny fish, 2 shrimps, a handful of calamari slices). The menu... please check the grammar before you print it next time.
