L'iseo Gelateria — Restaurant in Triuggio

Very disappointed with the attitude of the management to a potentially serious issue. The flavours were most enjoyable. However, towards the end of my "cup" of ice-cream, I discovered a sliver of glass in my mouth! My wife immediately stopped eating her own half-finished cup and went to inform the staff. Eventually a senior member of staff came to our table saying that she couldn't understand how it could have happened. We decided to leave and waited to speak with someone rather than just walking out. The lady, who I understood to be the owner, asked my wife to pay, to which request she of course objected. The "owner" said that she would be the one to decide whether the bill needed to be paid or not! From that moment it went from bad to worse. I am unable to understand Italian well, but it was clear that rather than the owner being willing to accept any criticism, she was in denial that the establishment were at any way responsible and was instead prepared to enter a battle with my wife. A sincere apology would have gone long way to excusing the issue, but to show no humilty has prompted me to write this review. The worry is of course that I may have inadvertently swallowed some glass. My gastroenterologist friend, has insisted that I monitor my stools for the next 48 hours and hope there is no residual damage and further action needed...

Personale poco educato, prezzi assolutamente ingiustificati: 3 coni (di cui uno per bambino!) per un totale di 9 euro! Una bottiglietta d'acqua da 0,5 lt al modico costo di euro 1,50.

Dimenticavo, il gelato a mio parere (ma sono siciliano, va detto) di scarsissimo livello, praticamente acqua, zucchero e coloranti.

RISPONDO all'isterica reazione del proprietario che evidentemente si è sentito toccato proprio nella verità di ciò che ho colto e che conferma la sua maleducazione (sono contento lo faccia cosi in pubblico). 9 euro tre gelati neanche al bar davanti al Colosseo, no a TRIUGGIO. Si faccia un giro in zona, siete assolutamente fuori quota. Ribadisco la mia personale esperienza: personale poco educato (e la reazione del proprietario la dice lunga, evidentemente è l'esempio che date) e scarsissima qualità del gelato.

D'altronde la mia recensione mi pare in linea anche con il parere di molti altri. Sarà un caso?

Allora, si beva una camomilla (magari a 5 euro, dai) e accetti il parere di un (ex) cliente.

A chiunque legga SCONSIGLIO...

Abbiamo scelto questa bellissima location perché la riteniamo da sempre molto suggestiva. Purtroppo il servizio offerto è stato alquanto deludente. La cameriera è stata supponente ed ostile nei nostri confronti dimostrando la sua insofferenza sin da subito. Durante il servizio ha esplicitato il suo fastidio di non saper gestire calici e taglieri con il timore di poterli fare cadere. Siamo stati lasciati al tavolo senza nessuno che si occupasse di liberarlo da piatti e bicchieri vuoti. Dopo una lunga attesa si è nuovamente palesata dimostrando nuovamente la sua insofferenza, mettendoci a disagio nel momento in cui doveva ritirate i vuoti come se fossimo d'intralcio al suo lavoro, anche se eravamo tutti garbatamente seduti al nostro posto. Un'esperienza spiacevole che sconsigliamo vivamente. Un vero peccato, conservavamo un bellissimo ricordo della gestione precedente con persone educate ed accoglienti!
