Great experience. Lived in Italy for three months now, definitely one of the better meals we’ve had. We had the salami and cheese plate for the antipasto, it was fantastic. The gnocchi (made by their Mother I’m told) was hands down our favorite part of the meal. The lamb chops were great as well.
The service was awesome. I ordered online for pickup due to covid restrictions. One of the items we selected was not available (like most good Italian restaurants their menu changes seasonally), and they called to find an alternative. I had a steak from the grill, that was good, but when I asked about a sauce like bourguignonne or bernaise, they even did not know these classics. The wine card was clear - red or white. No names. For dessert I ordered matured cheese. I got a kind of parmesan and an other nameless cheese, which was neither good nor mature. In the end, I was left lonely and had to go to the counter to pay. No happy end.
