Unfortunately the reviews didn’t live up to the expectations for me. Ordered 3 dishes, the pasta was ok, the beef stew was in a very thick sauce and was pretty flat in taste and saltiness and the worst was the fish, it was not fresh and was undercooked so the smell was quite fishy. The polenta was a bit stodgy and under seasoned. It was a very traditional restaurant and in a small village, thought it would be good. A basic restaurant. We had lunch there on Easter monday. First course (pasta) was good. Second course (fish) not so good, very bland. Service very slow, unsmiling and "matter of fact". For me, it was a disappointment because I had been there some years ago and had really liked its "hearty" food...

Chi pensa di trovare una cucina gourmet sbaglia luogo. Qui si trovano i sapori di una cucina in via di estinzione nella forma e sostanza e nella simpatia dei proprietari Marcello e consorte. Terra e lago si incontrano in un assortimento non scontato. Noi abbiamo scelto terra,Tagliatelle ai funghi porcini, brasato di manzo con polenta tenero da poterlo tagliare con un grissino, filetto di manzo in crosta con lardo guarnito da una salsina delicatissima al pepe rosa, il tutto accompagnato dal vino della casa un barbera. A completamento il dolce casaligo " il tiramisu".
