Ristorante bar ,Universo 24 — Restaurant in Unione dei comuni della Versilia

My partner and me wanted to have a nice diner at that restaurant. But the food nor the service was by far acceptable. First, we wanted to order some pizza bred, because we were hungry. The pizza oven was broken, we were informed by the waitress. Things like that happen. She told us, that all guests would receive free bread. Unfortunatelly, she forgot our bread. So after a while we asked for it, because we were hungry as we mentioned. We ordered a sea bass with mediterran vegetables. The fish needed one or two more minutes in the oven, it was butchered with a spoon and a fork by a waiter, a lot of good meat was wasted. The vegetables were a few cherry tomatoes, olives (both good) and potatoes (very old, we left them on the plate). The fish was planned for sharing with my partner, he had to order another dish: Because of the undercooked fish he got diarrhea. The restaurant isn't cheap, so I wanted our waitress to know, that we we're not very satisfied: Not to get something for free, but to hear what went wrong. It seems like I moved my fingers too much, but instead of listening the waitress started a rant about Germans. She blamed me for the mistakes of the restaurant and insulted me. She became louder and louder to get more attention from other tables. My partner was told that he can come back without me. Than she went to several collegues of her to loudly complain about me. It was rude and unprofessional. We paid over 100 Euros for 2 people, so it's not a cheap restaurant and I think I can at least expect an appropriate behaviour from the staff. We were shocked by that kind of Treatment. I normally prefer to only write positive reviews, and to talk to the staff, if anything could...

We tried the place with the "Universe" name. Strangely nobody spoke English sufficiently and they were not very willing to understand our little Italian. They tried three people just to let us order which we did in proper Italian from reading the menu. The Bressaola was ok. The fileto di manzo dull. After the main course no waiter ever asked us about a possible dessert or coffee. After 45 minutes Agneta left the table and approached a guy telling him we wanted to pay - no reaction. Then we hailed a woman. Il conto per favore. Only after some shouting came a person with the bill. If you are a foreigner, big warning. Food is not very excellent even if you are italian. Go...

Mi sono fermato in questo ristorante per pranzo con la famiglia, locale molto carino con ampie vetrate e con la possibilità anche di mangiare nei tavoli esterni.

il cameriere ci ha fatto accomodare servito l'acqua e portato i menù.

Dopo aver preso l'ordine il cameriere ci ha informatoi sull'ordine di uscita dei piatti, ho gradito molto questa organizzazione in questo modo tutti hanno mangiato senza aspettare gli altri. Voto servizio: 7+

Come antipasto, insalata di mare tiepida, buona ma un po' anonima senza gusto, buona la materia prima ottimi i gamberetti, forse un po' troppi finocchi. Voto: 6+

Come primi; Penne al salmone, molto buone salmone nel piatto abbondante. Voto: 8

Lasagne alla bolognese fresche con un ottimo ripieno e molti strati. Voto: 8

Spaghetti allo scoglio, buono il pesce, ma la pasta non era ben legate con il condimento infatti se si prendeva solo la pasta sembrava di mangiare pasta in bianco, peccato. Voto: 5

Per secondo; Cotoletta di pollo con patatine, una delle cotolette di pollo più buone che ho mai provato, al figlio é piaciuta molto, cotoletta davvero grande, ottime anche le patatine. Voto: 9+

Frittura di pesce, molto buona, buono il gusto non unta a dimostrazione di un ottima cottura. Voto: 8

Come dolce un tiramisù, non eccellente ne ho mangiato di migliori, porzione un po' misera. Voto: 4

Tutti i piatti sono stati con porzioni sopra la media, come dovrebbero essere in tutti i ristoranti in questo modo non ci si alza con la fame.

Bagno in ordine e pulito
