First let me simply say…this is the best restaurant in this area for 20 km! This is where the locals eat but it can hold its own against any fine dining restaurant for 1/2 the price. Carmelo goes out of his way to make every customer feel like they have come home from a far away trip 🙏🇮🇹♥️ whether it’s traditional Toscana dishes or perhaps infusion of southern Italy? The menu will bring your pallet on an extraordinary experience in culinary pleasure. The time selection is unparalleled representing Tuscany in all its glory. The menu does change with the seasons in order to take advantage of the freshest ingredients the local farmers have to offer. Abbiamo cenato ieri sera nel ristorante di questo albergo non avendo capito bene che fosse il ristorante di un albergo adiacente al parcheggio della stazione di servizio dell'autostrada, colpa nostra che non avevamo controllato bene. Siamo entrati nella sala ristorante passando attraverso la hall dell'albergo Il Grifo. Due sale grandi, senza possibilità di mangiare all'aperto. Forno delle pizze a vista (pizzaiolo senza mascherina). Sul tavolo abbiamo trovato il telecomando della televisione, non commento. Arrivano i menù che non sembravano essere stati igienizzati. Ordiniamo due taglieri toscani, una focaccia, una grigliata mista, una bistecca e due pizze. Da bere tre birre e una cocacola zero (mi portano un bricco pieno di una bevanda calda e sgasata con tre cubetti di ghiaccio, non commento e lascio tutto). La carne era decente, la focaccia era semicruda, il tagliere era di bassa qualità (Bruschetta con pane gommoso, porcini pessimi, formaggio industriale), la carne e le pizze erano normali, anche se poco digeribili. Il conto adeguato alla qualità. Ci aspettavamo di più tratti in inganno dalle bellissime foto dei piatti pubblicate qui, forse si riferiscono ad un evento speciale perché ieri sera nulla si avvicinava nemmeno lontanamente. Everything is just improved, the new owner just rennovates the structure, the breakfast is great, cold cuts and delicous cake. The restaurant is new, professional staff and the food is great. I have no words. Great place to have a stop...
