This restaurant is not afraid to lean into flavor. And not to use it as a crutch. The pici was hug of garlic in every bite - no question the flavor but not overbearing. Like a hug from your favorite parent, not your overbearing aunt.

The pesto gnocchi allowed the flavors to shine through, a nice alternative to the green bomb that pesto can be. Delicate and fluffy gnocchi balanced with a bright green topping that rang true with every bite.

The desserts were fine, IMHO would just skip dessert at the restaurant and do dessert wines instead.

If you drive take the note the parking area is a few levels below the restaurant to the west. Easy to get there as long as you don’t need to reverse out of the little parking lot that isn’t for the restaurant in front of the...

Everything would be fine (great location, nice food, although for a Michelin star it was not so amazing) if it wasn't for an incident that simply shocked us. Well, while waiting for desserts, one of the waiters just wanted to kick a little kitten next to us from the table. Instead of a kitten, he knocked off the glasses that fell on the floor right at our feet. Pieces of glass flew at us and the waiter didn't even apologize (he didn't react at all). It was a shock for us !!! The worst thing is that when paying the bill, the manager also, unfortunately, instead of strongly apologizing for the situation, he simply translated (very ineptly) the waiter. Unthinkable! Excellent and authentic restaurant in a wonderful and picturesque setting. Great terrace, gorgeous views, phenomenal food, outstanding wine list, convenient car park - what else can one wish for in the heart of Tuscany? We had one of the best traditional Ribolita (with a fresh spring onion) we have ever had. The asparagus flan was absolutely heavenly. The “pasta of the day” was tagliatelle with black truffles which was excellent. The strips of grilled Tuscan steak was fantastic and flavourful. The potatoes were so good. If you find yourself staying in one of the B&Bs nearby, or simply driving by, do yourself a favour and eat at this...

A wonderful gem in this small village. The cuisine is a fresh, local and well executed. I’ve lived in the area for only a month and have dined here three times. Michelin recommended, and well worth the recognition. The artichoke, (sometimes eggplant) flan in a pecorino fondue, and the carne crudo are my favorites. The pici pasta is a must try since it is a Tuscan pasta. Truly, nothing you order will disappoint, though. Enjoy the local food and the local wine with a breathtaking view. What else does one need to be happy?

A wonderful gem in this small village. The cuisine is a fresh, local and well executed. I’ve lived in the area for only a month and have dined here three times. Michelin recommended, and well worth the recognition. The artichoke, (sometimes eggplant) flan in a pecorino fondue, and the carne crudo are my favorites. The pici pasta is a must try since it is a Tuscan pasta. Truly, nothing you order will disappoint, though. Enjoy the local food and the local wine with a breathtaking view.
