Gagliano is a special osteria in the heart of Sarteano. Chef Angela prepares local, tradional dishes with a persnal touch and with seasonal ingredients. I had fork-tender pork with porcini. Giuliano (Gagliano) is the perfect host: accommodating, charming, and personable. Theirs has been my favorite place to eat for over ten years, and I'm glad they survived the pandemic and are thriving. Bravi!

An excellent place to have dinner especially if you’re looking for a menu with something else then typical well-known Italian cuisine like Spagetti, Pizza or Panna Cotta. You can order here a lot of regional specialities! The service was excellent. The guests had been a pleasant mixture between tourists and locals. Unfortunately they have no terrace.

Fabulous local but very unique food. Delicacies I have never tasted before. The atmosphere was also great and the hospitality warm and welcoming. The menu and service are also very English speaking friendly, not to be taken for granted in a small (beautiful) Tuscan town :)

The Osteria Da Gagliano has reopened and has a wonderful menu! We stopped by for an appetizer and drinks and tried the Asparagus Flan with Parmigiano Fondue. It was spectacular, our favorite dish so far in our Tuscan adventure. We plan to make time to return before we leave the area. Our awesome waiter suggested we try something different next time but I might need to have the Asparagus again too! Will...

Were lucky enough to get a table at this popular spot last night and had a fantastic experience. The host was generous and accommodating; the food was interesting and really delicious -- local, but well and creatively done.
