So, this is another place where restaurant and a store are combined. When you enter, you get menus, and are seated at a table with a number. When you chose what you will eat, you go back to the lady, tell her your wishes and grab available drinks from the fridge (juices, sodas, water, beer). Then you have to pay for the food and choose drinks. Go back to your table. It is a liitle pleace, so don't worry, you won't make too many steps. Your table gets called in Italian(!), when you should come to the counter and take it. I ordered pizza without cheese, first try was with it, in the next minutes I got a new delicious pizza. Self-service; it was a bit chaotic, Mac Donalds ordering runs more smoothly.

Limited information on the menu, like ‘the Chianina’ only mentioned no other information like ‘served with a salad’. Also price is different on the menu than what you pay; almost doubled in price. Fries we’re slightly undercooked and mix salad was the size for 3 people to eat from. Dispite that the Meat was okay.

To create more space they put a tent outside with underneath heaters and like about 11 tables to eat, creative but cheap.

Rosso Vivo Pizzeria Verace is a hidden gem not far from Montepulciano. It not only does excellent wood fired oven pizzas for everyone, it is clear its kitchen takes gluten free options seriously. Gluten free for this pizza restaurant is not an afterthought, it’s a craft and they’ve nailed it!

My partner and I both left satisfied with our experience and our pizza choices. I had the Diavola on the restaurants traditional base, and my partner had the Rosina on the gluten free base (see picture).
