Our first visit to Saturnia we arrived at 9pm and found it difficult to find somewhere to eat for dinner as many restaurants were closed except for this pizza place. We walked in and waited at the door to be served but could not find any staff. We walked up to the lady making pizza and asked her if we could dine for 3 people and she got angry at us and told us that she just cooks pizza and asked us to find staff. She spoke rudely to us in Italian. We could not believe it how she yelled at us, such bad service. We finally found a waitress who was nice. I asked for pizza with cheese and salami, mild salami not hot for my son. They did not have any gluten free food for me, I ordered a salad. When the pizza came out it had chilli on it with no salami. I told the waiter that my son cant eat chilli, and that we asked for salami, pepperoni mild. He must have gotten confused and gave us peppers mild. He told us to take off the chilli/peppers and eat the pizza. I told him that the chill would still be on the cheese and that my son would be sick if he ate chili, he said the chilli is not hot and that he would fine to eat it. I told him that my son could not eat the pizza that is not what we ordered we wanted salami and cheese. He got angry at us and told us the kitchen was closed and could not help us. He walked away yelling in Italian and told the pizza lady maker who then got angry, we could hear the screaming from outside. They were yelling in Italian, one of us was Italian and understood what they were saying which was not nice cursing us. The worst service we have ever experienced in our life to be yelled at from the moment we walked in. My son did not have any food to eat and they did not care. We were not charged for the pizza but I would never ever return and will tell everyone not to go there unless they want to be treated badly. Shocking and disgusting behaviour so...
Read moreIt was so bad that it was enough to amuse the evening. There were only menus in Italian. The waitress was an older lady who understood absolutely nothing, regardless of whether you spoke to her in Italian or English. My pizza was pretty dry and overall not very good. My 2 friends enjoyed their pizza. Afterwards we wanted to drink an Aperol. There was no Aperol Spritz listed on the menu, but since we saw an Aperol bottle at the bar, we thought we could try ordering one. We told the lady that we would like an Aperol Spritz, but she just didn't understand us, even when we showed her a picture of Aperol Spritz on the phone, she just asked us if we wanted a Sprite... We then gave it on. Then she left our table with a loud and...
